The Big Row

Mr. Frei is planning a very long row this summer….in this 16 foot boat…and for a very good cause! I’m planning to row my Adirondack Guide Boat from Troy, New York, to Baltimore. Why? Don’t ask. Not now. It’s a longer story than it is a row. You’ll read about it in the Journal…. If ‘ole Mr. Frei completes what some have termed this “nonsensical adventure,” he’ll have rowed about 450 miles.

Aug 14 - Stone Harbor to Delaware Bay

Mr. Frei called with the good news that he had already made it through the Cape May canal and was just getting into the Delaware Bay. He said the winds were with him and there were gently rolling waves. He has to do 70 miles on the Delaware before hitting the Chesapeake Canal.

Thanks to Bill Flammer's generosity in Stone Harbor, he is refreshed and feeling strong!
